Titleist DCI 981 Replacement Irons

I am trying to find a 7 and a PW for a Titleist DCI 981 set of irons. Is there a site that handles older sets like this, or is there another way to find replacements for these two clubs? Thanks.
Charles, Washington, USA

Charles,

Check out www.ironfinder.com. They are a good resource.

Clubmaking Schools

I want to study club making as a hobby, but it seem all the schools just want to teach you how to use their range of tools. Can you suggest a good place to learn the art? Cheers!
Chris, Bloomfield, New Jersey, USA

Chris,

You can’t go wrong with either Golfworks (Jim Yachinich is a super instructor) or Mitchell Golf. Either is great. Golfworks may be a better place to start as they are more basic at first than is Mitchell.

Marketing Club Business

How can I market my club business effectively from my home shop? I would appreciate any assistance and advice given.
Blaine, Brandon, Florida, USA

Blaine,

There are any number of ways such as newspaper ads, Tv ads, flyers at golf courses, demo days (if you do custom stuff), etc. The more imaginative you can get the better. Talking to local courses to see if you can get their repair business is a good idea. The more you get your name out, the better your chances of success. Good luck!
