Scott
Sorry to not have 100% accurate information. But, most of the airBear irons from that timeframe had 63.5 degrees lie and 47 degrees loft.

Steve, Fayetteville, Arkansas, USA
Steve,
The club requires a taper tip shaft in the shortest length available for the flex -usually @37″. It does not get tipped; butt cut to length.

Hi. Can a PX pull out from Callaway X22 iron fit into a Titleist ZM iron? Thanks!
Denis, Singapore
Denis,
The X22 is .370″ parallel. The ZM is .355″ taper. The shaft will not fit. If it is an X22 Tour, then the shaft is also .355″ and it will fit.

Jeff

Brian, Greenwell Springs, Louisiana, USA

Brian,

I am not a fan of 1-length clubs. Typically unless they are made 100% correctly, long irons are too light and short irons too heavy. Unless lofts are adjusted correctly, long irons tend to go shorter and short irons longer. The finesse shots around the green are more difficult as well with longer short irons. No major golf company is pursuing a 1-length set at this time and Tommy Armour Golf abandoned it over 15 years ago - thus there must be good reasons why each club is a different length.

Look to a lower lofted model. Loft will have a more noticeable effect on trajectory than will shafts.

Jeff

Hi Jeff, I will soon be replacing the shaft on my Titleist 909F3. I plan to drill out the small hole they provide from the blind hosel through to the sole. I then plan to use compressed air to blow out any extra epoxy present inside the shaft after inserting it in the hosel. This will leave a clear path where I can inject tungsten/epoxy paste to fine-tune the swingweight. But I’ve seen others deliberately block the bottom of the shaft with a ‘T’-shaped plug. Can you see problems with my plan? Thanks in advance.

Jeff,

‘Makes sense to me! I see no problems with your plan.
